NORCO Slopestyle Bicycle Re-Design: The design intent was a full-suspension, single speed, chain and belt drive (Gates Carbon Drive®) compatible bike using the preferred frame geometry of Norco® Team Rider Sam Dueck.

CLARK Hands Free Baby Holder: it was created to help parents hold their 3-12 month old infants between their legs while in a seated position.

WCE Tourniquet: a re-designed of the EMT –the Emergency and Military Tourniquet - clamp component which is a single handed pneumatic tourniquet that prevents severe bleeding and nerve damage to limbs.

VGH-Exchanger: Vancouver General Hospital is sponsoring a designed Laparoscopic surgical Tool Exchanger. It combines two traditional tools into one, and allows exchange between them within the visible operation field, which ensures no tissue is damaged when tools are moved in and out of the camera’s view “blindly”.

UBC Farm- vegetable washer: to wash topped rooted vegetables with minimal damage thanks to a horizontal barrel shaped suited for outdoor environment.

Twin Cube: a wireless robot capable of motion in six degrees of freedom.

Tuna-Tag: Quantification of Forces and Movements of Marine Biotelemetry Tags.

Thunderbots Manipulator: a re-designed kicker mechanism enables angular control of the balls trajectory while kicking. The new components provide valuable functionality that will give the UBC Thunderbots a competitive edge at the 2011 Robocup event in Istanbul, Turkey.

Tetra-Seat to Sky: the Tetra Society is sponsoring a project to develop a motorized seat raising device in a manual wheelchair. A “seat-to-floor” wheelchair that would allow an user to more easily transfer to the floor, to reach items at different levels and to transfer to platforms higher than the wheelchair seat.

SEEDS Gear Dryer: UBC Transportation and Planning is seeking assistance in the design of a device that will effectively dry the basic cycling apparel, use minimal electricity from the grid, and complete the task quickly.

Romilly- Automatic Head Restraint System: the mechanical subsystem of an automatic head restraint positioning system to reduce whiplash injuries from rear-end collisions.
