FAC (Faculty Committee): The academic goals and priorities governing the Centre’s activities, processes and structures will be determined by a Faculty Committee (FAC) consisting of the EXEC Committee and design faculty/reps from the various departments and programs in APSC. A representative from the shop staff will be invited to sit on this committee, along with representatives from the Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS) and the Engineering Student Team Council (ESTC), although decision-making authority will rest with the faculty members

OPS (Operations): The operations of the Centre will be devolved to the EDC OPS Committee, which will be chaired by the Design Instructor (as envisaged in the Design Chair proposal) and will include the EDC administrative assistant, a shop representative, an APSC representative responsible for Faculty of Applied Science facilities and a representative from each of the EUS and the ESTC. The OPS Committee will have responsibility for formulating and implementing operational policies, subject to approval of the executive.
